The Chattanooga Central High School Band enjoys a long reputation of musical excellence.  Year after year, the Central Band has worked hard to live up to higher and higher expectations and to achieve goals set by the students. Band class meets 5th block every day, with marching band in the fall and concert band in the spring.  Students must have been in band in middle school or have been in private lessons prior to entering the 9th grade in order to enroll in the class. 

The Fall 2008 Marching Band halftime and competition show will be a tribute to Elton John.  Musical selections include "Crocodile Rock", "Tiny Dancer", and "Pinball Wizard".  We are looking forward to a very successful year!
